Overview
Hao Cabs is a modern taxi bidding mobile application designed to make ride booking more transparent and cost-effective. Unlike traditional ride-hailing platforms with fixed fares, Hao Cabs enables passengers to request a ride and receive multiple fare bids from nearby drivers, allowing them to compare offers and choose the most suitable option. The project focused on creating an intuitive and seamless experience for both riders and drivers through a user-centered design approach.
Key Features
Real-time driver bidding system

Design Process
The design process followed a user-centered methodology, beginning with understanding the challenges of traditional ride-booking systems and identifying opportunities for a bidding-based model. User flows and interaction patterns were mapped for both rider and driver journeys, followed by low-fidelity wireframes to validate navigation and information architecture. A scalable design system was then developed to maintain consistency across the application before creating high-fidelity interfaces and interactive prototypes. Throughout the process, emphasis was placed on usability, transparency, and reducing friction across the complete ride lifecycle.
